Dear Mr Jovanovic,

With great pleasure we received the information that a chapter of the international organization Transparency International had been established in Serbia. I extend my congratulations to you on being elected President and wish you a lot of success in your work.

The Government of the Republic of Serbia, as you know, has decided to embark on an all-out struggle against corruption and has confirmed its determination by establishing special Anticorruption Commission that I am running. The Commission plans to formulate a national strategy for fight against corruption in the nearest future. National Integrity System survey that Transparency International Serbia is going to undertake will serve as an assessment base in the process of designing the strategy.

Therefore, the Commission considers work on the survey as very useful one regarding its future ACTIVITIES. We are ready to fully cooperate with the expert team coordinated by Transparency International during its work on the NIS survey and to provide it a full assistance.
