Seminar on the Law on Preventing the Conflict of Interest in Krusevac

Today in Krusevac, in premises of municipality's assembly, was held a consultative meeting about implementation of the Law on Preventing the Conflict of Interest in performance of public functions, with attendance of public officials from municipal organs and public enterprises from Krusevac and other Rasina county municipalities.

After greeting of Ms. Bratislava Resanovic, chairperson of Municipal Assembly of Krusevac, academic Vojislav Stanovcic, member of the Republic Board for Resolving the Conflict of Interest and Program Director of Transparency Serbia presented their experiences and points of view considering the implementation of this important anticorruption Law to the participants.

After that, lecturers and legal advisor of the Board, Mr. Aleksandar Panovski, answered the questions of officials and other participants of seminar. Before the beginning of seminar a press conference was held with large presence of local media. At this conference, representative of the Board presented worrying results regarding the respect of the obligation of officials of Krusevac for filling financial reports, while representative of Transparency spoke about the Transparency Serbia's reasons for organizing a series of similar meetings across the country.
