As part of a pilot project for closer explanation of anticorruption regulations and strenghtening of anticorruption institutions, after taking place of expert round tables, Transparency Serbia published thematic publications.

Book “Conflict of interest at public officials and civil servants in Serbia” (in Serbian language only) contains authorized extracts from discussions from all-day's expert round table which took place in Belgrade, January 19 th 2006, so as numerous appendix which can help interested readers to better understand context of presentations and to closer direct in currently very dynamic area of regulation of conflict of interest at public officials and civil servants in Serbia. Participants of the round table discussion were representatives of Transparency Serbia, Republic Committee for Resolving Conflict of Interest, Supreme Court of Serbia, Republic Public Prosecutor, Law faculty, Institute for Comparative Law, Standing conference of Towns and Municipalities, and craft association of judges and civil servants. Readers will have the opportunity to acquaint through this book with expert texts of PhD Slobodan Beljanski and PhD Bosa Nenadic about questions of conflict of interest, with legal analysis of problematic regulations of the Law on Preventing the Conflict of Interest and analysis of the results of Transparency Serbia's public opinion research , also with complete text of the Law on Preventing the Conflict of Interest and relevant parts of the new Law on civil servants, National strategy for fight against corruption and UN Convention against corruption.

Book “Capacity building as one of the key factors in developing a transparent and non-discriminatory public procurement system in Serbia ” is bilingual (Serbian and English) publication of extracts from expert round table discussion held in Belgrade , January 31 st 2006. Book contains presentations of representatives of Public Procurement Office and Commission for Protection of Rights, World Bank and other experts, which analyzed situation in regard to content and implementation of Public Procurement Law.
