Transparency Serbia for better form

Adoption of new form for submitting reports about collected and spent assets during election campaign for the first time opens possibility for insight into purposes of spending those assets.

The decision of Minister of Finances, Mr Dinkić, to bring this act is one of the best examples of successful cooperation between various actors in fight against corruption. Those organizations include, among others, Transparency – Serbia which noticed the need to make report form better and the possibility for that to be done within limitations of current Law, and then formulated preposition of changes and gave them to authorized organ, media and journalists, and foremost those form BETA news agency, who helped in considering this preposition with priority, experts from Ministry which agreed with suggested changes and Minister who transformed them into legal duty with his signature. Transparency Serbia considers that it is quite clear that thanks to that cooperation, information about campaign financing for next general elections that will be available to public would be far more quality than so far.
