FREE ACCESS TO INFORMATION:
LEGISLATION AND PRACTICE IN SLOVENIA AND IN SERBIA
As we have already announced, in order to inform the public ABOUT experiences
in the enforcement of a law on free access to information, Transparency
Serbia would like to invite you to our Workshop on the Regulation of Free
Access to Information, which will be held at the premises of Transparency
Serbia (29. novembra street No. 36/I, Belgrade), on 27 November 2003,
starting at 9:30 a.m..
Participants will be informed ABOUT the basic provisions of the Law on
the Free Access to Information of the Republic of Slovenia, the Regulation
on the Delivery of Information of Public Character, as well as practical
examples, by Mr. Igor Šoltes, Commissioner in charge of access to
information of public character of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia.
Moreover, participants will be informed on the key provisions of the Draft
of the Law on Free Access to Information of the Republic of Serbia and
proposals for upgrading them. Participants will also receive copies of
the Slovenian Free Access to Information Law.
