Public statement ABOUT appointment of
Board for resolving conflict of interest
Transparency Serbia greets decision of National Assembly's chairman to appoint first session of the Board for resolving conflict of interest , which bridged over the flaw in respective legislation (there is no provision ABOUT procedure for first Board session). On this way, one of obstacles for implementation of this particularly significant peace of legislation was removed.
Since the Board will have to face with accumulated politically sensitive problems from the very beginning, Transparency Serbia considers as necessary that Government of Serbia, complying to the Law, provide the Board with all resources needed for its successful work (appropriate premises, technical equipment and budget), as soon as possible.
