Press Release Regarding Appointing the First Meeting of the Republican Board for Resolving Conflict of Interest

Transparency Serbia supports the decision of the President of the National Parliament to schedule first meeting of the Republican Board for Resolving Conflict of Interest. This way was the best for resolving the gap existing in Law on Prevention of Conflict of Interest, which didn't foresee who should schedule constitutive meeting of the Board.

Having in mind that the Board has some very difficult problems to resolve on the top of the agenda, which are very politically sensitive, Transparency Serbia finds necessary that the Government should provide all necessary preconditions for the Board's work as soon as possible (appropriate space, necessary equipment, specialized service and budget).
